CJ I think you have enough room for small bearings top and bottom on the oil pump shaft. Might even have room for the isolator in between. Of course we digress, as we were talking about keeping air out of the oil and how to seperate it out in a slant 6 race engine. Frank |

I'm of the opinion, it would be easier/better to install a external crank/belt driven oil pump (as many racers do), then to do those mods to a stock oil pump. |
