The hat and shirt arrived today. They look great
, I am going to struggle with saving the shirt until the race. I don't want to mess it up before that weekend. The hat will live in the Convertable, I always wear a hat when I drive it.

Got your check Phil. To everyone, Thanks one last time for your support of Slant six racing in the Northeast. (And everywhere else also) After all is said and done with shipping and all I have made approx. $496 for the purse at Mason Dixon. I am still working on the payout amounts but if we have 12 cars Saturday and at least 16 Sunday, and it looks like we easily could, we could have a $500 payout on Saturday and $900 on Sunday. Our Hats and shirts arrived yesterday! Very nice. Thanks, and it's all for a good cause! Now if I could just get enough time to go racing myself.  Linda and I are happy to lend support. Hopefully we'll make most of the remaining races out here on the West coast from Woodburn on.  I suppose putting my car back together would be the first order of business.  CJ |

I have a need to order a few more shirts and hats. If anyone wants any more please let me know ASAP. Same prices as the others. Know we will just be spectators. I use to have a 1965 dodge dart when i was 15 years old. Then in 2004 i had to sell it. Eventully i will get another slant six car and come drag racing. Sounds like a lot of fun. |

Thanks Rick ...........I just retired am disabled but getting better every day . I promised myself that I'll be back on the track as soon as possible. I'll pull it to the coast if things work out. projects include twin turbo stroked 170 w/198 crank and a supercharger for drivin around in a 64 conv.maybe??? I know it has been a while but I am still checking on the window decals as well as a license plate with the same logo as the shirts and tees we had made up earlier.(see page 1 of this post} These will be heavyweight laminated stickers so they should last quite a while. The license plate would have the same logo and are vinyl over aluminum. I am just waiting on pricing. I also have a couple hats left. There was 2 guys asking about hats in another post, so I will give them first crack at them. I hope to do another design on a shirt for next years race as well. I guess I could order more of this past years design if there is interest? Just let me know. Rick Covalt |
