Thanks Wayne and Sergio for keeping us all up-dated, let's make the call at 12:00, one way or the other...
To be honest, I am already looking at just taking one car... it's just plain crazy for Allen and I to flat tow on rain-soaked roads.
We, as a group can decide to cancel & reschedule, even if the track decides to "give it a try".
Please give us your thoughts ASAP.

I just talked with Aric and he agrees that even if the track says there might be a small "window' on Sat, that it would be best to reschedule and have a full two-days of racing weekend. That will not happen this weekend. Also not fair to the out-of- towners to "gamble' on comings betting against the forecast rain prodictions as they have room, gas, ect expenses many of us more locals do not. I am for re-scheduling to early Spring so there is no doubts about the rains.

Is Redding up and running by mid-April?

With MATS in late March, that would make a good bridge for the two month hiatus between MATS and the first race in May.

I'm hoping Mark will hit the lottery this weekend and fly all the Killer Bees to Maui for the end of year party this December.

I've been drafted to do a bit of work for Linda's dad here this morning. He hurt his knee and is laid up for a bit. The trip has a purpose! :D

I'll check back in a couple hours to see what the plan is.

Thanks Serg...
I do think this is a good decision... the forecast looks like a real wet weekend for all of N. California.

I specifically asked Bob if the track is running in early Spring. He said they would be scheduling a late March and then into April meets. Not only our group but those that were going to race for the Wally trophy were cancelled. They too, will need a make up race. Bob said he would have a two-day race to accomadate both the slant6 and wally groups. We will be asking for some feedback from all the Killer Bee Team as how to address the points tally. Please call all those who may not be on the website regularly. I don't have Roys ' number or Randy Judges...Please contact as many as you can from the list that Sergio posted..thanks, Wayne

We both feel that several racers were counting on Redding to accumulate their best 4 races for points. Our vote is for the final race and "Racing year end Banquet" to be in April 2011. Thanks to everyone.

Luck of the draw when it comes to weather. 2010 is complete as per the schedule. We could petition to count the second Woodburn race, but as far as I'm concerned, 2010 is done. We could still put together a year end banquet. I could make Redding or wherever for that, just give me at least a month's notice so I can schedule the time off. I can bring a couple of folks from up here in the pickup and stay at a hotel.

I'm still holding out for Mark to win the Lottery!

Start fresh for 2011.

Post subject: Who's going to Woodburn Aug 7 & 8 ? (Fri Jul 16, 2010 8:10 am)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This will be a points race to replace the canceled Medford race. This will be WEST COAST ONLY POINTS RACE , as we didn't have the 7 week advance notice for the national points chase.

The points for the SSRN total was decided back in August. My thought is to leave it up to the majority of the Killer Bees to make the decision for how to handle the loss or rescheduling of the Redding race. I don't think we have any knowledge of what the East side has for points. So if we were close to them or tied then reschedule, as far as team Killer Bee race points let majority rule on this issue.

December in LA?
I don't think we'd have many takers. Be fun to hang out at Mark's shop though! I'm pretty sure I don't want to deal with the pass.

As far as Woodburn was concerned, I agree, it was West Coast only. Just threw that up there, and the more I thought about it, the worse the idea looked.

Call it done, and total the points. My vote.
