Rick there should be plenty of room for trucks and trailers if we get cramped for space we can unload and leave the rigs across the street. Norm good to hear from you. Im looking forward to seeing you, Elaine, Donnie and Joan. This is going to be a great weekend. Lou I agree this is getting exciting. Rob, Attaboy! Im glad the display spot in front of the dealership with your name on it will be filled. |

Ditto!  Not sure if I'll just drive Stella or bring GodsRods Duster II on a trailer/dolly... I'll try to make it with the Duster since it's been there before and Dale surely helped Norm work on it back in the day.

As noted, I won't be able to race this because my slant grenaded the block. I would like to spectate though. I'm going to have rebuild another slant on a budget. Does any racer have a decent performance camshaft that can be bought reasonable? We can do an in person deal. Send me a pm if you can help. Really trying to get the car back together to be able to race it! |

I have a Mopar Performance cam that might work for you. I'll try to find the specs on it. It supposed to be designed for a 4 barrel street build... I can bring it to the races on the 14th / 15th. |

I just made our reservation at the Addison Inn for Friday and Saturday. (Did you catch that "our" part..? You'll see... )GodsRods Duster II is almost ready. |

Ron, does everyone need a helmet at these tracks? I know some tracks require them for everyone. Looks like a pretty good turnout, depending on how many of our non-internet folks show up! Can't wait! Got my tow truck and trailer all lined up. Woo Hoo!! Rick

Rick I checked with Danny at WRP. He said anything 9 sec. or quicker will need helments, slower is ok without. I am checking with Farmington now, will let you know. Yes it is looking good for a big turnout. I am getting excited too. I just saw the Winner and runnerup trophies and the Dale Rose memorial Plaque that Charles Myers is providing, they are awsome. Someone is going to be very proud to receive them when they win. |

Looks like my engine has gone south. I just found out today. I suspect cracked cyl wall, tons of water in the oil. We will see. I am going to try to get something running in the dart but dont know if I can that quick. Ron |
