to the top to show Im still alive.
Just dropped in to say that I still lurk even though I don’t have my truck anymore. There is a guy that ended up with it (long story short) and rebuilt it all.

Now w that out of the way, I wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU, to the slant community. Not only for my time here and such but also I wanted to tell all that I mimicked my own site to look a bit like the slant site. Yes I built my own phpbb based website, which I’m not an IT guy, for yet another inline 6 community. I will be swapping a GM 4.2 inline 6 into my 55’ Chevy dump truck. Well, I found out that the community used to have a forum but the guy passed away and had the website somehow tied to his company so they lost the whole forum. Everyone moved to ungodly worthless facebook. So I decided to start a website for the community and because I know the slant site so well (even have a few stickies) that I would duplicate it. I just announced it on the FB group page yesterday to get it off the ground. By all means you guys can drop by and check it out (as of this typing I am currently fighting a weird random 403 error, so yes I know about it) You’ll notice it has a lot of the same feel even though it looks like a different “theme”.
So again, THANK YOU SLANT COMMUNITY!

Ps vortec4200.com guess it helps if I say where lol.

ALSO, IF SOME OF THE ADMINS THAT CAN ACCESS THE ACP MENU, please reach out to me, id like to pick your brains on the board and some of the settings. I have beat my face since June 27th trying to get every detail worked out the best I can. Talk about steep learning curve.
