Thanks for the info, Sandy. I doubt I will do much high throttle 3-4 shifts, but I would guess they have done upgrades there as well. This shifts around 5000 at WOT out of 1st and 2nd, and of course I can hold the shifter to go higher.

I am supposed to get the revised converter today, and I *think* I am up for swapping it tonight/tomorrow before driving north. Can't wait to have a good stall behind this turbo motor...

Trans worked great on the track. Spins into 2nd every time. Ran only 0.1-0.2 sec slower in drive than shifting manually. 13.57 @ 104 on 11 psi (in drive), then put 70 lbs in the trunk and went 13.57 @ 103 shifting manually. Went slower Fri night on 14psi - mild rich misfire most likely. With some tuning and the good converter, 12s should be within reach.

FUN to drive... Noisy a$$ trans pump, though.
