I always look forward to seeing the ingenuity of your builds. Thanks for the update!

I want a ride! Think you'll have it done by late May? I'll be out for a week...

Not likely done this year (not the top of the hobby work schedule), but how late in May?
Eagle Field's the 20th through the 22nd, you can take a ride in the 'Brick.

Hmmmm. That would be super cool. I arrive 5/21 evening and will most likely go to friend's place in Oxnard for that night. Where is Eagle Field?

About 4 hrs. north on the 5, it's listed on Google maps. May be a bit of a trek for you from Oxnard but if you do, we'll be running Fri, Sat, & Sun.

Thanks, Dick. That will be too far to go for this trip. Maybe we can catch up during the week after that? Maybe you can email me at dart270 at gmail...?

Back at it, the oil pan & pump pick up this time. "Adjusted" the pan angle to match the mill's 28* tilt.
Modified the pump's pick up to match. Defeated Buick's "floating" pick up feature, keeping it flush with, and right at, the bottom (like the /6). Perhaps call it a Sl8 ?

Exhaust up next. 8)

Wow! That is beautiful work! It looks just like a longer version of a factory Slant 6 pan!

Very, very cool indeed! 8) 8) 8)

Lou
