You are correct, it's a bitch in the car. Maybe six of one, half dozen of the other, but if it were me (and clearly it's not), I'd find a way to get the car into the garage... Or just go ahead and freshen up the whole motor. All those incidentals you're going to have to get loose to snatch the motor are going to add up, and something WILL strip or break. Plus, going by your signature blurb, I thought you found it great fun to lay on your back up under a "Mopar"...

Speaking of Fords and girlfriends, have a buddy with 69 F250 and asked me to help him put in a motor/trans and make 75 bucks doing it. Hey free money. Girlfriend will not let him use the garage, so he gets the bright idea to pull the truck alongside the garage and mother nature rewards us with a blinding sand storm but this idiot insist on doing the job in these conditions with no heads on the block or any protection. Who listens to me, strange I spoke to him last week and he can not figure out why his rebuild only lasted a year...Dave

He must still be ticked about the wife forcing him to sell the GT and and getting the Ford! Now to get that numbers matching 70 Duster 340-4speed he has had on blocks in my garage for the last 11 years. Who knows maybe he'll renaig on the rent...Dave
