Once the schedule is set Bryce@ Gill welding will help us to promote the races on their Social Media Platforms in a effort to recruit more folks to come out and race with us.

I think it would be nice to have one of those races in the General Tennessee / Kentucky Region as they might be able to participate or attend with the Gill Racing Dart (nudge, nudge) Bryce! :D

I’m good with meeting in person in Tennessee or somewhere else, or on Zoom. It would be nice to talk to you all and brainstorm about the future of racing. I plan to get the 5 speed in the race car and run 10s on gas…..or scatter pieces all over the track trying. Lol. I’d hope to get the chance to do that at a slant 6 event this year. Even if we only have one or 2 races on the schedule, it will still be fun. Life has been super busy for me and having all my cars in pieces made this year rough but I think we can get stuff together and have some fun.

One thing I’ve noticed in the RC racing world, is that guys like trophy races. Points series don’t seem to have the same draw as a single big event. So 2 big trophy races with all our effort going into that could be a good thing for us moving forward. Race/slanted swap meet. Or race/annual banquet where we can eat food, do some awards and talk mopars and hangout a weekend. I think we can keep keep racing/meeting up, it just won’t look the same as it did for the last 25 years.

I'm in favor of a "one big event a year" racing/swap/meeting, whatever. I'm not interested in trying to run a points championship (in any class). I just want to race and have fun, and it's more fun with other slanters. Preferably in TN or KY, (well... actually at Mokan) but where ever.

Again this year Mokan is pencilled in, we'll see what the weather gods give us. Stan is probably doing a rain dance so that Colt don't get embarrassed.

I like 1/8 mile, you really got to be on your game or get sent packing.
