Thanks Rick! Yes, it does feel awesome! It was super of you to go ahead and give Cookie and I our T-shirts at the banquet prior to us meeting the requirement. :wink:

I've made a couple passes to get my feet wet, so I'll be setting my sights on Mason-Dixon next. :D

Now that I have an actual time slip to go by I've got some goals for the GodsRods Duster (other than just finally getting it down a track :lol: )

I'll be splitting prep time between the Duster, Challenger, Colt, Dart and whatever else comes up... :roll:

At least I ain't no Poser no more. :wink:

Wookie is supposed to come up here Easter weekend. A real good day and we'll have a running car. I'll be impressed if it runs in the mid 16's first time out. :D

I HAVE now drag raced! Therefore, I AM now a Drag Racer... That's kinda how it works... :? :roll:

I didn't say I was good at it yet, just that I HAD, so now I AM! :P

Mid 16's huh? I don't see it happenin' that soon. Now, once you swap engines around Demon to Piggie, then we'll see sumthin'!

I brought them side winders off the GodsRods Duster home tonight and hit 'em with 1000, 1200, 1500 and then some toothpaste fer good measure. :shock: They're almost passable... I said ALMOST. :roll: :lol:

I've been low 16's in the car myself with a stock longblock just like the one we have in the car now. Granted I had a better converter, but Wookie will have more gear to make up for it.

Wookie's gotta weigh a couple hundred pounds less than me too.

That's pretty impressive to go 16s with a completely stock motor.

That would be cool if y'all do get it in the 16s. I trash talk quite a bit, but I'm rootin' fer ya! :wink:
