Honestly I have not done anything major since it was running 13:90's at Clay City. Timing and carb tuning is about it. I think it will pick up a little more when I finally get the front end where I want it, it was pretty high last night.

I need to get myself switched from numbers chaser back to serious racer.

I'm just happy that I have proven that 13:05 last year was not a fluke.

And yes, gaining that much from simple changes is blowing my mind.

Like Greg I wonder what is the significance of a 594' time? It's fun to get real time slips, especially when they have pretty numbers on them.

Pretty numbers like 3.14159, or 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34.

Thanks guys! It really is amazing how much the car has picked up with just very minor changes. :shock:

I believe the 594 time is for the sandbaggers to figure out what their car would have run at the 1/8th if they had stayed in it. 41 does run some 1/8th mile races.

Since I will be 1/8th mile racing the next couple months I brought home my 4.86 gear set last night. I am asking myself if I really want to set them up and install them......... :oops:
