Come out to the track and look for the SL6 cars, we park together along the back fence. We usually go out on the town after the races. |

Well..it aint gonna happen. I stalled and stalled about calling it but it just isn t in the cards. Even if I had managed to beat the snow and get a new rear axle in place and had just lived with the other details that needed to be done. Ive been driving the Valaint every chance I get. It runs like a clock. I even dug up a pair of rear tires (245/60/14). I can get near nuff to the bogger sna the trans blanket and fire extinguisher. I even washed my fire jacket and neck brace(mudracing is a terrible thing)..... I need to be on the West Coast (Vancouver)on wed and Alberta on Thursday. I wont be back from Alberta till Friday night or Sat. (10 grand job). Ill be doing 1500 miles....but it will be in a Buick Roadmaster and a Suburban. Have fun boys....Ill be thinking about you......and that free prime rib dinner. |

Well back in January my girlfriend and her parents set up a trip out to Vegas for us all to go on, and they just happened to schedule it for March 28 - 31. Too bad there is no way in hell I'm gonna get away to come meet anyone  . I'm going to have to be more careful next year and come out on my own so I can come out to the strip.I'll be staying at the MGM Grand, where is everyone else staying at? |

I'll be in vegas tomorrow evening...maybe someone can answer this quick, but is there any easy transportation out to the track from the main strip other than a Taxi? It didn't look like too far of a drive so I don't think cab fair will be too bad. I'm thinking I might sneak away from the girlfriend for awhile and go out to the track while she's spinning away at the roulette cable. |

Ross, I'm not sure if the busses run out that far or not. It is about 10 miles out to the track from the north end of the Strip. We will be going out to the track Friday, Saturday, and Sunday if you want to tag along.

Speaking of NOS...  Filled the bottles yesterday, bought a can of leaded 110 and made a ice chest shipping list. Pull the racecar's driveshaft tonight, get the cars prepped for towing and hit the road after work Thursday. Pray for safe travel and we will see everyone in Vegas on Friday. BTW, I talked to Tom at Erson Cams and he said he was going to be there. DD |
