I'm excited about this project. Are there by any chance plans for one that will work with a Clifford intake manifold? I'm swapping out the turbo on my Dart very soon to something better suited for a slant six, but I've already put a lot of work into my intake manifold for EFI. |

The next turbo header I build I am just buying stainless bends and cutting and welding them the way I want. Since I have started working with this new guy on chassis and headers I have found different places that make bends and collectors. The header I built for Ron's is all hand built. If I can build one better than we will all have nicer headers (including Ron) on are slant sixes. This is just the beginning for some good stuff for the slant sixes. Any one could probably have one made for a thousand dollars but that is out of reach for a normal person. I am going to figure out a way we can have one for less. I would like to build a jig and build some to make it cost effective. Check out some of this stuff! www.NoLimitDragCars.com |

Our turbo race engine is going to start out with a Clifford intake and do some baseline test. If it will work on a Clifford it will work on a offy 4 barrel. We have the forged 2.2 turbo pistons and beleve this we are picking up brand new nos 198 rods monday. Should have the camshaft next week. Then I have the pieces for the build. I am keeping up with cost on this turbo project and think I can build a turbo engine for 3000 dollars. In my 2400 lb race car on 8 lbs of boost I expect to see about a 11.20 1/4 speed. That will cut 1.3 seconds off in the 1/4 mileif it doint blow the tires off. Yall stay tuned. Thanks Ron Parker Bagels Juiced Im Bamboozled |

That's great to hear! I just orderd a Garrett GT40, and I may run it on a J-pipe off a cast iron manifold for a while until the turbo header is ready - but it would be great to have something less restrictive for the exhaust. |

| Post subject: | Pre Bent Stainless Tubing |
I just talked to a guy last night from a well known header company about buying everything I need to put a stainless header together with my flanges. I am talking about a double throw down 2 three into 1 and than two tubes going into my own t4 flange. The prices with a discount just for the bends and the collectors were over a thousand dollars. That is me welding everything up and cutting everything to fit myself then ceramic coating it. I myself will have over 1,300 dollars in a stainless 304 steel turbo header for a slant six. Finding a cheap alternative is going to be impossible unless mild steel or factory manifold with a turbo flange is used so I can see now that the stainless steel thing is going to be for the absolute speed freak! If you are not ready to take that big a#$ step you may want to use the later of the two. Just keep in mind the rust that will end up going through the turbo with cast iron and mild steel. |

Ron, sorry I did not get your header shipped last week. I will try to ship it this week. I tried it on with a 4 barrell offy intake and there is a little interference with number 2 exhaust. I think it can be dimpled in a little and it should work. |
