Hi guys,

I have had some feedback by US customers that they have been a little shy on purchasing the Hurricane due to possible confusion via our webstore with shipping rates. International shipping rates are almost impossible to determine via our webstore and it's plugins which are almost always inaccurate. For this reason I have added a "US ONLY" Hurricane package which is a real good deal, especially considering the strong greenback versus our recently slumped Australian dollar.

For a very limited time, this package includes the following :
~~ Choice of 2-barrel or 4-barrel intake manifold
~~ Aussiespeed plenum heater
~~ PP&R performance graphite manifold gasket
~~ International Airmail shipping - Direct to your door !

Checkout our new listing here : http://www.pentastarparts.com.au/sunsho ... =2909&c=53

To determine the US-dollar rate, simply select the USD option in the currency convertor on the too left-side of the page. Currently this kit is just under $500-USD ......delivered !

The support of our US-Based Slant 6 enthusiasts is great, we (PP&R & AussieSpeed) appreciate your business and feedback relating to this new intake. Please feel free to forward any enquiries or questions to : sales@pentastarparts.com.au

Thanks again,
Ray (Jr)

Daniel, you are right it is not cheap. I have to say Mark (Aussie Speed) and Ray (PP&R) are trying their best to bring new slant products to market. If you order now you will get a hellava better deal then Stonethk and I. This is not the Aussie dudes fault. Their dollar took a dump (sound familiar?) and I can't blame them for the new package deal. Ray has modified his site in order to make orders to us easier. These guys are the real deal (sorry Fanie You are the real deal also!) I admire these guys for taking the risk (put up capital for R&D and production) to cater to such a small market. I don't know if the Hurricane is perfect but i was impressed enough with the ideas behind the design to buy it. Nuff said!

Seeing how well the last bulk buy on the Offy valve cover went I would think a nice Hurricane cover would sell just as well or even better. Who wouldn't like a v/c that had 'Hurricane' on it.

Hey guys I sent an e-mail....Let me know asap!

Thanks!

Ditto for what Wven. says.
The service was great and appreciated.
Also that these folks are actually manufacturing something for such a small (seems) market is worth the praise.

I have yet to install my manifold but I would definitely do more business with them from what I have received so far.
Bummer about buying before the dollar went down.

"Don't look Back" I say

I went to a mopar swap meet a while back and walked through Indy Cylinder Head's booth and was drooling over everything including their fabricated valve covers. Sheet Al - TIG welded you know the look. This could be a wild look for a slant! BlackSheep thanks for the mileage update. Very cool! Doc, are you runnin' Stonethk's intake this weekend?

No, there was not enough time to do all the installation work needed to run the Hurricane intake (with N2O) so I will run the season ending Redding race with my current set-up. (I need to go some rounds for points... not sort-out a new intake)

I will swap manifolds after that, then run the car at Infineon or Sac. to see if it picks-up time.
