Yep. Looks like the "best" way will be a medium flat rate box. With or without insurance (buyers choice/responsibility). I even looked into just Tapeing up the gear set box real good, and shipping that way, but the saving is not there. Priority Mail Flat Rate is $10.95. I will find out how much $100 insurence is on Monday.
Canada shipping looks pretty pricy, and no insurance available.

PS: Doc do you want any? How many?

Checking online looks like $27.95. I want to check and see if a large video FRB will work, that would be $10.95.

If the sprockets and chain are prepackaged or shrink wrapped together, it ought to fit in a flat rate large envelope or large padded flat rate envelope at $4.95 to anywhere there's a ZIP code. Same envelope or flat rate DVD box $11.95 to Canada.

There is a padded flat rate envelope for $4.95 12x9.5

Can't find a limitation on thickness for the flat rate envelopes.

Only states that it needs to close normally, and can't be reworked
(I used to fold them so that they were 1" thick boxes..... Can't do that anymore)

So a lumpy envelope should work if you make sure the gears don't poke holes in it............

I cannot answer that question. I have never had a JP set in my hands. Maybe someone else can answer. I do know, I have used Cloyes sets for years on different engines, and am satisfied with them.
