Well, then quit flappin' your yap and make me an offer.

You'd be amazed how cheap you could get it.

I want more for the rear ladder bars/coil-overs/housing than the rest of the car anyway.

Easy now Tiger, we got to get him to quit flaapin' his yap first.

I guess this is just some more of his "RE-FOCUSING"

I'd love to have it, but wouldn't I have to get rid of GodsRods Duster II before moving on to GodsRods Duster III? :? Did Big Daddy have different versions of the Swamp Rat running at the same time? I heard Don was in the hospital with a mild stroke recently... :(

I already have a set of ladder bars and a narrowed housing with axles... I think you said the mounts were still there to run leaf springs though anyway, right?

Looks like we need to "talk again"...

I'll believe it when I see it. Andrew and Chase have both already been down a dragstrip in Jr. Dragsters and Chase has raced in an autocross with the SRT-4...

We've already got plenty of options to whoop up on you AND your boy!

You want a piece of any of the Simmons Clan, you just get something,... ANYTHING ready to race and we'll be more than happy to put you back in your place.

That's right Bagel! You'd better put a leash on yer boy there!

I'm still FOCUSED! I just like lots of options.

I'm a highly trained tactician that knows the benefits of having multiple options to defeat an enemy.

(BTW: I had Mike come over to the garage yesterday afternoon and help me get those doors on the GodsRods Duster! )

After my first 24hrs of LeMons race, this could be a real possibility. It was fun beyond belief and I could see building a Slanted A-body to compete. $500 is a joke. There were plenty of ~$5-8k cars out there under all the spray paint. This thing already has a rollbar, right? Thinkin'...

Yep, it has a nice 8 point chromoly roll bar. We may need to add the additional bars to make it a full roll cage if that is what is required (or the right thing to do! )

I talked to Ben at the ICH Swap Meet Saturday and he said the Safe T Cap frame sections from Auto Rust Technicians is what he used on the back. That front section is $170 plus shipping and the labor to have it installed correctly.

I would LOVE to do this! :D

There may be enough chatter, interest and parts between folks in VA, KY, IN and IL to actually make something happen with this thing after all!

Just curious as to what the car looks like more than anything.

Car is pretty much as bare '76 Duster shell. It has had rocker and quarter patch panels (Year One parts) installed, mini-tubbed, 10 point bar, and has the mounts for an Alston ladder bar setup in it. Spare tire well was cut out and we have a fabbed up floor that will accomodate a fuel cell and be legal.

I have the fenders and doors. Fenders need work, doors have the crash bars out of them.

I have an assortment of grilles, and most of the glass.

Sorry, no pics. :D

Ok, thanks for the pics. Has a lot of potential from what I can see, should make you a nice racer. So if you get all your race car projects going all at once, and take all of them to the same races, thats one way to rack up a bunch of points and tilt the odds in your favor.

You weren't supposed to tell!

Wouldn't that be a hoot to have all four of my boys, my wife and myself all racing at the same event!?

Oh wait! That's Rick Covalt... My Bad!
