Will, if the cracked area is accesable with a drill, you can use a mechanical repair. Should not take more then a couple of hours. http://www.locknstitch.com/cracked_engi ... repair.htm |

Here is the list of attendees as I have it today. Saturday Rick Covalt Ryan Covalt Denny or Micah Covalt Lou Madsen ---------------- (at least 1) Lou Madsen #2 Greg Ondayko Phil Stoneback Charles Brooks Jr Brian Mimken Wayne Swanson Nick Stamm Ron Hamby Ron Heath Seymour Pederson Brian Droschak USAJon Ken Anderson Romeo Furio ----------------Maybe Sunday Rick Covalt Ryan Covalt Denny or Micah Covalt Lou Madsen ---------------- (at least 1) Lou Madsen #2 Greg Ondayko Phil Stoneback Charles Brooks Jr Brian Mimken Nick Stamm Ron Hamby Ron Heath Brian Droschak USAJon Larry Bird Pat Dawson Don- Strasburg Va Tony Walker Sam Powell Ken Anderson Seymour Pederson ------ Maybe Wayne Swanson -------- Maybe Romeo Furio --------------Maybe Folks below,I still need confirmation on some of them. Several I spoke too earlier and said they would like to come. Please let me know for sure and I will update the list. Maynard Gress ------------- Will Burns ------------------Car broke Cory Ruhl Tom Kagarise Kevin Bradford Thomas Heflin I spoke to Elmer at the Track and he will kick in $20 per car on Saturday and $25 on Sunday. This is in addition to the money from the items everyone bought ( Tee shirts, license...etc) plus some purse money from Lou Madsen, Ryan Covalt and yours truly. I think I have about $600 on hand plus whatever goodies I can sell race weekend. So if the car counts are close we should have a $1400 plus payout. Please remember when you come in to the track. Be sure and tell them you are racing, and that it is the Slant 6 series. They will take your money and give you a tech card. Bring that into the pit area and find the Slant six parking area. We will help you with everything from that point on. We will have a meeting and explain how things will run. We will pull names out of a hat and set up our ladder. Things may go quickly Saturday since it is basically a T & T day and we will be running in between T&T. Parking should not be a problem on Saturday & I will probably head down to the track at 8:30 or 9:00AM. Gates open at 8:00AM. I would suggest that you get there no later than 10:00 on Sat. Some folks will be staying at the track overnight, so we should be able to save some parking spaces for Sunday. I need everyone to see me and sign in when you get there. That way I don't forget anyone when I write up our article. Also I had planned to have a my son, who is a pretty good photographer, take all the pictures for us, but the US Army decided he needed to go for training that weekend. So I will do my best to take pictures of everyone. So if I forget you, please come and see me. I want photos of everyone. If you will be late getting there for some reason, please give me a call and let me know for sure you are coming. That way we don't miss you when we draw our ladder. If anyone has Questions please feel free to call me. Home phone, after 4:00 PM is 717-762-1701 Thanks, Rick Covalt [/b] |

Quote: a question
Depends on the track. My windshield is cracked kinda bad on the passengers side. when i raced @ 75-80 tech told me to get it fixed next time I showed up..whats the tech @ masion dixion.. I can post a pick to show how bad it is.. If it's street legal and you wouldnt get pulled over for driving most tracks will let you run and ask to get it repaired the next time you show up. Just go to a different track every time Greg |
