"Then up to Woodburn for the race. If all goes well to that point and we don't break his new toy at Woodburn it's all points East back to Kentucky."

We are here to help ya if it's needed.

I am hoping to do a trip like this in the opposite direction in August...

Hope all goes well, Rob and son!

Haven't seen an update since they left...I figure they are: a) having a good time, b) got jacked by the paroled Manson Family members/Decided to join up with Patty Hearst...or c) they are the epitome of the song Sausalito Summernight by Diesel... ("blew a gasket on the grapevine...")

Rob just called. They made it through the 100 degree Sacramento valley, no car problems, and will be here in Paradise, CA in 30 minutes. Doug and Allen are leading the way in Doug's Dacuda car. We will give them a quick tour of our Slanted herd and head up to Edd & PJ's for a BBQ tonight. Tomorrow morning we leave for Woodburn. Bruce & Wendy

Did Edd fix the trans on PJ's car? Last time I talked to Fopar, he told me Edd was waiting on MSD stuff.

Will they be coming up to Woodburn? We haven't heard anything, but would like to put them on the Woodburn list if they plan to attend.

Looking forward to meeting Rob! :D

Hopefully Rob can convoy up with the Pines. I'd feel better. Should be fine. There are a couple pulls they need to keep an eye on the temperature. Mt. Ashland is a bugger. I seem to remember that was where the Ford overheated heading south, and I broke all the rings in the Hooptie on the old engine heading north.

If you don't overheat on that one, the Rockies are a piece of cake Rob!

That is the plan, the climb isn't that bad 6% for 5-6 miles. My radiator was half pluged and you were trying to keep up with me.

My beer got warm. You old coot!

The hotel had ice, so you got off the hook.

In your defense, you did win MATS in a '52 Ford!

:D Priceless!
