Id rather be mistaken for a terrist; than be mistaken for whatever the can o Bud portrays..... Its the can more than the Bud really........( Canuck Bud is way diffrent than Yank Bud)......but cans are always non derigguer. Me wid a friendsh accent ......Tabernac!,,,,,cette soir ,,,,ajour dhui....! Qu est que vous portez une canard ne cest pas? Quelle Fromage! I remember making nitrobenzene in a Chem 112 class and pondering the molecular difference between benzene and methane..... I picture niromethane as a nice combo of nitrous and acetylene....in a liquid package. <Whooooof> ......<dancing Blue Flames> |

Well I dont have any armour like dat,,,,,but, oui, you have the general idea. Your mother was a hambster <snork> I plaze the acCENT on ze wrong sylABBEL...... In reality, I live about as far from French speaking people as you can in Canada. (3 long Roadmaster days). The only people who speak French here are treeplanters......you know....hairy, braless community college girls from Montreal , who come west in the summer seeking riches and cowboys. They are usually covered in insect bites and need to do laundry. I dont mind them so much....... |

looks like we can get back to a serious note. as my conversation with Neil Newman. he's 85 now, work @ chrysler for 3 years started in 1959 in the performance section. He told me that the performance section was next to the reliable/use section, that they had a low portion between them, that performance would hand off what they had to see if was was usable stuff.he stated they got more HP then they thought using 2 four barrel carbs on an custom open plenum chamber intake, but it would not idle for street use. He further stated that tuned exhaust lengths meant more then carburation..All on the 170 cubic inch motor. He also was in the design for the boat sideways slant six, had issues with rocker oiling which they fixed . One of the biggest problems was valve float @ high rpm,s . he left after 3 years to go with boat engine company( I did not take notes as I was in a car) that made @ the time the largest aluminum boat engine and he thought it was a good direction for himself. please all of this is from my memory talking on the phone recently and there may be some errors..not many USAJon slant six racing ! ! ! |
