Of course! :D

Duster ran a 14.19 this morning, so pretty consistent.

The Duster didn't miss a beat all weekend. It even won all the marbles! :D

It ran 13.97-14.19 every single pass.

Best pass was I believe a 13.97 @ 94 MPH.

I'm really itching to spend time making lots of little improvements, but I'm resisting the temptation so I can focus on the Challenger.

When I got home I put it up on jack stands to look things over, snug a few bolts, change the oil and flush the block and radiator. That will have it ready for the next adventure.

What cam, carburetor and gear is in that Duster and how much does it weigh? If this is all proprietary stuff, I understand...lol.

Hey Brad!

Nothing proprietary here.

I haven't weighed it, but basing on comparison's with GodsRods Duster I ( http://www.slantsix.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5217 ) I would say it weighs somewhere around 2,500-2,600 without the 190 lb driver. I do plan to find a scale to put it on soon. This is the same engine from GRD I.

The rear is a Ford 8" with 4.62 gears and a mini spool. Tires are 28X9-15 M/T drag slicks.

Carb is a Holley 650 "Double Pumper"

Cam is an Engle 276. I'll have to dig up the actual cam card somewhere...

It also has a good torque converter in it... I've mixed and matched things a few times, but I believe it's rated at 4500 RPM... Maybe a PTC...

I adjusted the air pressure in the new slicks and did some launches in the driveway.
What a difference! :D

Haha, I missed that air space. Guess there is a jack involved, or there is a hole in the neighbor's house?

I am going to cut the cameraman's shirt tail off if he can't turn his camera the right way! I pulled a muscle in my neck looking at it again!! :D :D :D

I noticed that too. Interesting thing is, the orientation is correct when viewed on my cellphone.

When I click on the pic it gets bigger and rotates to the correct orientation.
That thing sure leaves hard!

Yeah,... that twisty photo thing... I take 'em upright, but when I use the Forum upload feature it "sometimes" rotates 'em like that. And it only views that way on my computer, not my cell phone... :?

Wish I could pull the front wheels without wrinkling the slicks!
Just saying.

It’s good to see you posting Mr Hamby.
You just bring them wrinkly slicks of yers to Motormile in a couple weeks.
