Ok, I am bringing a booster pack with an inverter so I can take all the photos and video I can...

Aric and Wayne:

Would it be possible for me to borrow a plug-in on your trailer for my camcorder again?


Looks like I won't be appearing in my '71 Dart 4 door, I will be there with my '74 Swinger instead! My '71 is going to a friend who wants to get involved with drag racing, so it looks like we may have another car in the field for next year! Yay! 8)

I look forward to this event, with the utmost anticipation.

It will be great to see everyone again!

The last recap above lists 26 confirmed but mike w and marty need to be removed lowering the number to 24.But not to worry. Myron is in, Edd is in with Mikes car and Paul is in IN Martys 64Gt and Tony from Oroville ,68dart with wife Amy driving just confirmed.So looks like 28 lets not think breaking the old record ,lets get 32 or more out there.

Good going guys..the car count keeps going and going..I am trying to confirm delivering the 66' to Rhonda at Redding..that will give us another car to count. Also, hopeing to get Reg Evans and/or Wilson Rich and/or Mike Ricks and /or Oscar Steelman to join in breaking the all time National record.
Please contact any slant6 owner that may want to be part of this "record breaking" Slant-6 event. I am sure that there are many that want to be part of the high energy and fun at Redding on October 25-26... and being part of the team that breaks the records.
BEE AT REDDING ON EITHER OCT 25 OR ON 26TH. and BEE PART OF THE TEAM THAT BREAKS THE NATIONAL RECORD...

Just got a email from Rich Wilson from Corning and he is a go..he just finished painting his Cuda and we all want to see it in person. Please add to the list...Rhoda is still a good possibility..we are trying to figure out how to deliver her car to her there at Redding and let her get some 'seat time'...she is very supporting of our group and always is there to help in anyway she can... Woody Blanchard is trying to come and so is Reg....Did anyone talk to Paul Olds or Dan Ochs? Remember, if you want to be listed at one of those who broke the National Slant6 car record, YOU HAVE TO BEE AT REDDING...NO EXCUSES..BEE THERE ON OCT. 25-26. How about Marty and Art #1? Glen is talking with Art #2 who bought a slant6 car there at the Samoa meet. I think all could be included under the "possibles" as WB should be...We are getting closer to making it over 30 cars...good going guys/and gals...later, Wayne

OPs..I forgot our website 'leader' Chuck..I am sure he will want to take pictures and do a feature story for this event...he has one neat slant6 wagon and promised last Redding meet to be there in October...Doug is going to "work on him"..please add Chuck to the possibles?

hI CJ..It looks like Myron is a go ...maybe you could replace him Marty in the "possibles". Also, include Paul Olds and WB as good possibles...I now looks like we may have a 60 point race...would that BEE SOMETHING TO END THE YEAR DOING AND SETTING A RECORD THAT WILL STAND FOR MANY YEARS TO COME... We need to confirm the list. Lot's of names coming through, and I'm trying to keep up with it. We've got a great race coming up here!

If we could verify, and contact a few of the possibles to see when things might firm up for them, that would be great!
