Sorry bout that NewLancerMan! Been concentrating on other things! Sounds like you have things set up with Johnny, so unless you want me to head it up, I'll just sign on with you! For clarification, were talking $99 for the set of mounts. Is that correct? Considering the quality of what I saw while visiting Johnny, that's a good deal! I am in for a set for the '63.. Johnny looked the 60-61 mounts over and told me the cost would be considerable to make the early mount. Sorry Stone. I'll check and see if a friend of mine has a set available if you like. CJ |

Got mine in, along with a bottom end swap! Haven't driven my swinger in months- spun some bearings on the crank... It's the second generation, one piece insert. Went in easy. I'm loving it. It feels like it should- not harsh at all. Won't wear out in 6 months like the rubber ones I replaced. ![]() later rdr |

Some time ago I installed the second poly mount I got from Johnny on the passenger side. The impetus for this was clearance of the Jeffery deep pan's clearance to the K-Frame. I used a pan that was not apporpriate for my era car. The second mount was of much higher durometer material. Consistency is just a tad softer than a very cushy rock. This stiffened things up to the point I wasn't concerned with wearing a hole in the pan from engine movement. The Hooptie has become a metal box with no heating or air control systems, and virtually no soft foo-foo stuff, like floor mats or interior trim. The change had no effect on sound levels, as they started out at deafening, and continued with deafening. This mount was a special, so for anybody that wants one you will need to special order it from Johnny. I'd estimate it will markedly increase sound and vibration. ...as if I could tell. Works great for the drag car! CJ |

I'm about to change the mounts on my 75 dart and much rather use these then the car quest parts I got. Where can you get them and what do they run for the set? Do they also carry a trans mount? -R- |
