I guess I got my order in just in time. Ordered my head studs, and rod bolts, yesterday, and they were going to ship same day.

You guys are a bad influence. Coming up with all these good deals, and forcing me to build a "good" engine, instead of another e-bay/swap meet engine.

Thanks all - I ordered my junk today - They were outta Head and main sets, but I should see the cam bolt by the end of the week. The other stuff is backordered and should be here in 2 weeks.

I did not get rod bolts because I have a set already.

Thnaks!

Greg

If the Slant rod kits are out of stock you can order a set for a 340 and have 4 bolts left over.

The triangle washers are still available from Dodge/Chrysler dealership, part # 3751 636. Be prepared - they are somewhere around $2.70 each.

Brass nuts - Dorman Part # 680-001 or 849-001 (same nut, sold to stores in different packages)

New studs (Grade-eight) - Dorman Part # 675-093

You can read all about manifold mounting HERE if you haven’t already.

Bee aware if you are useing main studs they recomend align hone or bore mains,I went with the 2.75 Arp main bolts to try to stay away from this. Will bee dropping crank in block next week to see how it feels.I tried to order from Summit but they were out of stock.Ordered direct from Arp and got head studs and main bolts the next day $122.I do get a 15% discount because I have a shop and have ordered in the past.Guzzi Mark

MJ - large order -what are you up to ? If you don't mind me asking. Thanks for the kudos! I consider you the godfather of the group buy (Erson Cams)! :D Once I figure out how a cam works I may order! Lou has tried to tutor me but he may have to draw me a picture. Thanks again, Wayne.

I'm with you, sometimes there are just missing pieces that I don't get until hearing it about 25,000 times. Lou is a patient guy luckily ;)

What am I ordering? all the junk for my new buildup. motor is at the machine shop now, but I'm having to pick up a few "odds and ends" that somehow end up being $$$ =)
