Yes, we generally get at least 2 time runs, I've seen as many as 4.

Friday Test n' Tune is more for shakedown and fun (at least for me).. I always have to fix SOMETHING.

It unfortunately looks like I'm going to have to take my name off the list. After a slow winter, work has finally picked up, and I'll have two jobs with deadlines near the end of the month. On top of that my buddy just offered me a once in a lifetime deal on a slick '65 D100. So I won't have the time or money for the trip. I'm super bummed!

Don't feel too bad, I won't have a slanted car to run this year... too little resources for anything. Congratulations on getting work, and the deal on the truck!

I should be at the track providing relief from excessive-beer-in-the-cooler-itis.

I will also be available for thrashing if needed!

Looking forward to seeing Rob and son Chase who are traveling from the East Coast to pick up their car and attend the Woodburn Race.

Lobster want to come! It all depends on how fast I can get the car finished. Never done EFI before, but I am somewhat optimistic.

So tentatively Barnaby and Olga Tuttle are coming. She'll drive!

Cheers,
Barnaby

I'm trying :) Still trying to find where the fine thin line is for it's limits.. If I floor it all the way with my foot on the brake, the car will stall out..

Us too PJ! :D

Chase reminds me everyday what the "countdown" is.

I take him driving in empty parking lots with the Tahoe. I let him drive the Dart the other day so he could get a feel for an A body. I reminded him several times that his Duster with power steering and power disc brakes will feel much different from my Dart with manual steering and manual disc brakes... And the Dart is about 7 seconds faster in the 1/4 mile...

We got the title for the Duster this weekend.

Sorry I missed Edd's call this weekend. We were in Missouri for our niece's high school graduation. I'll give you a call today.

Only during test and tune, I think you can also carry a pit crewman during time trials to watch your gauges (not that it might throw off your dial in..)
