Bill, i think your deffinetly going to have to vent the block with a fuel pump block off plate and catch can. Charlie, supposedly, if you ever have a backfire with a turbo motor it can destroy the check valve without you knowing, and one more backfire after that could make an interesting boom |

I am with Shaker223. Stock rebuild with 170k miles. Doesn't burn oil. Makes a little crankcase pressure, but not much. When I first put it together, I mistakenly plugged the stock breather hose into the intake tract after the turbo. This definitely gave me some problems (dipstick launch and a little oil out in a few places). Unplugged it and no worries since. Granted, I have not seen over 13 psi, and usually limit to 6.5 or 9 psi depending on my whims and cravings. Lou |

When I was running my "Draw thru" turbo, I just had the stock PCV and breather, with no pushing of oil at about 10PSI. |

I think it depends on how much blow-by you have as to how much pressure ends up in the crankcase, needing to be vented.I am going down to Freddie's tomorrow and drive it under ten pounds of boost on the highway for a while. I'll let you know what happens. Gettin' interesting!!!! Bill |
