We had a fantastic dinner last nite after the races and Car Show were done. Low attendance for Race and Show due to ominous weather forecast and concurrent Ocean City Show. Storms did not happen until after 7PM

Andrew and his 2 older children joined Lou, Victoria, Rick and myself at Texas Roadhouse. Rick was happy because we did not go to the Clearwaterweeds Restaurant. Everyone now knows to order a baked potato barren... not plain.

I believe Lou recieved a trophy for the '34 in the car show.

Drying out the dart and trailer now at home.

Thanks Guys.

Yep! Nice to see you guys and spend some time at dinner together.

Car developed a bad misfire or something like it at about 1000' on the last run. I won the round but decided against running it and damaging something. I no sooner got to the pits and they called us up for the semi. So I didn't even have 10 minutes to pull the plugs or valve cover...etc

What a wonderful event and trip! Victoria and I had a ball. The 34 Coupe performed flawlessly. Leaks like a sieve in the rain, but oh well. Not a priority for this car. We had a leisurely evening/night in Hagerstown and a nice drive back Sunday. I swear about every 4-5 cars on the road gave a big thumbs up and smiles. A few people were filming us as we drove.

Thanks again to M-D Dragway, the Mopar Club, and all our friends who made it! It was great to see Andrew's kids crawling around the car and asking about every little thing they saw in the 34. The Oogah horn was a hit with all ages.

Best time 14.87 @ 89 MPH. As driven into the track with 3.23 gears, 3250 lb racewt, and 28" tall tires. Had fun in the show and just drove over to the track to get tech'ed and make passes then parked back in the show.

Gas mileage is bad, but not unexpected for this setup (3800 RPM converter...). Did not get a perfect reading. Because of the fuel tank leak I cannot fill it. I'd say it's 14 MPG +/- 2.

Glad you guys had a great time.

Rick, hope it's nothing serious.

Lou, that coupe is a tank! I never would have thought it would weigh that much. Pure 'Merican iron I guess.

Yeah, a bit heavy. The metal is all really thick and it has full fenders and such, and no significant rust. I need to weigh it again.

Yes it was great to see you guys and spend some time together at supper!

My car is fine! I'll post the problem over in my Virtual Dragstrip thread.

You can be a coaster too. Just drive to Galveston.

If I've got a car with no drivetrain... does that make me a roller coaster?
