The pod is kicking in giving you more advance at 850 rpm. Dial it out and the idle will come down. Use ported vacuum for the pod. |

ok. i'll give it a try. it did do this same thing with the old non adjustable pod too. |

Gato, Have you read the Doc' scanned distributor adjustment .jpgs under Engine FAQ? The 4th page tells you how to adjust it. I run my 11R pod VC-208 3 turns out. That way it will not kick in too quick. It is the fine tuning that gets your re-curve to work the best. Hope that helps!

i even have a printed copy on my workbench. i'll double check it in the next day or 2.. maybe that'll help the "stumble".. |
