Yeah, that IS great news Charlie! Now we all know how to get you to attend more races! I'll be sure and give Peg a call a few weeks before the Clay City race to make sure she's good and mad at you!

Nick, It will be fun to have you race with us, whatever you bring will be fine. This time in the DRY!!

Also Great News from Will and Charrlie!

Maybe this could be a 50 Point Slant Race, How many people do we need for that to happen?

Brian Droschak, you better be there on Saturday - - No rain.

We need to get Chris Evrard a Car to run.. I will call up Romeo Tomorrow as well. Maybe we can get him to make the 3 hour trip.

Things are looking good for more people!

YAY! :D :)

I'm fired up too! Fingers crossed for good weather and that Charlie and Will can make it (as well as everyone else).

50 pt race means you have 5 competition rounds. In order to do this you need more than 2 to the 4th power, or 16, to have 5 rounds. Thus, 17 or more cars is what we need. It seems that Rick and all of us can make this happen, hopefully both days!!! This will be unprecedented, if it happens. Also, we haven't had a 50 pt race in the East in 2-3 yrs, so that's pretty exciting.

FYI, a 40 pt race needs more than 2 to the 3rd power or 8, so 8+1 = 9 cars or more.

Cheers!

Post subject:  17+

It will be great to have 17+ cars. Maybe as many as 20-22 if everyone shows. But the funny thing is that I know of at least 4 more local cars that aren't coming.

Also I just looked at the weather and it appears to be holding steady. Rain should be out mid-day Friday, with just some scattered evening showers, and be nice and sunny for Saturday and Sunday.

It can be tough to get those local folks to come. There are some people who will just not leave the house, or don't want any attention on a track...

I will be excited if we get 17+ for a 50 pt race, and esctatic if we get more than 18, since that is the last biggest race in the East (Knoxville 2008 or 2009).

Post subject:  Long haul Charlie

Some of our long haulers are on the road. I spoke to Charlie about 6:00PM and he was into South Carolina, headed North.

Ron Heath was going to leave tonight I think from Maine and head South. I believe Seymour was heading East.
