Given how the limited interest there is in the 1/8, and how little backlash there was from the West on 1/8 mile records, I'd say I am totally fine either way. On the other hand, I think I know who the 1/8 mile requester was, and I wouldn't mind going for better 1/8 mile records myself. How's that for non-committal... Lou |

I am planning On Bringing Ruster if Nothing Breaks or malfunctions between Now and then.. If Ruster is unable to attend I will bring a super fast stock 1980 Aspen sedan. Well, I don't want to count the chickens too soon, but if anyone is wanting to know; I have 17 confirmed cars for Mason Dixon on both days. I have 3 more that I am waiting on replys from. Also I did not count one of our 4 trucks. So it looks pretty good for both days unless the weather doesn't cooperate. This also does not count 5 people that I know are coming for one of the days. So we could have 20 cars if it all works out. Rick |

Charlie goes a different route when he goes to that race. I asked him if he could do some delivery for me and he said he goes up I-95 instead of I-75 where me and Ron are located. |

As it stands now, I will be there Saturday, but getting there on the late side, and not racing for sure. I will drive the Dart up, and park in the pits if there is room. I have a piano tuning that morning, and can come up when done. I will have to call the customer and see if I can start earlier. I am looking forward to seeing the folks. I must remember to bring my ear protection this year. Lets hope for good weather. We have been in a rainy weekend cycle here for the last couple of weeks. Sam |
