Wish I could have stayed longer Sunday, but the Wife and baby weren't having it.

They might sit out a few years then come back.

Thanks to the Covalt clan for hosting and for having a Rent a racer for me to drive on sunday..

Made it home to Florida, about 9 pm Wed. Stopped in Tn to see Meril Brunner, and pick up some parts. Then down to Ga and Ron Parkers to get more parts. Last stop was in Alabama to visit my grandson, and my new great grand daughter. A long week, but enjoyable. Added another 2,400 miles to the truck. Now has 397,xxx. on the clock. Amazing!!!!

Many thanks to every one, that make this a great series/race. The Covalts for hosting it (and the food), Ron for suppling the tube(s). The people that helped change the tubes (two flats). And the track for making us welcome.

PS: Yes, Rick. I borrowed one of your red lights in the final Sunday, against Ron Hamby. Went -.002 red. Sat broke out, on the brakes, with a 14.539 on a 14.54 dial, second round.

Well, the car I mentioned is in PA waiting on body and paint. It's a "I'll trade you this if you do that"job. It will give me time to gather parts for it.
If all goes well it will be ready for next season. :roll:
