I have been holding off winterizing the Challenger because I really want to click off a 6 second pass while I am this close.

I know the way things go with me and once it gets mothballed it will likely stay that way a lot longer than intended.

But it’s getting close to freezing at night and I haven’t made any plans to get to a local track…

What's your closest track and how late in the season do they stay open? Make it happen, Mr. Simmons!

Don't be a wuss, go for it. Or just send the car down here to me. Won't need to winterize it. Plus maybe I can get that 6 sec run, I only weigh 165 lbs. :P :P :P

Thanks Lou!

That’s all I needed.

Ohio Valley is only about 45 minutes away. They have test & tune Wednesday. If I don’t make that we can talk about it at MSR!!

I finally called it today and drained the water out of the Challenger. I’ll do the rest of the routine to put it back in mothballs soon.

It just wasn’t gonna happen with all of life’s other requirements.

I finally reached my goal of re-setting the A/Alcohol records for Norm. So I’m satisfied for now.

Next goal is entering the 6 Second Club.

Hopefully it won’t take me another 12-13 years to do it…

I finished winterizing the Challenger for another long hibernation.

Pop helped me move it from the main shop into the paint booth.

Hopefully not getting that 6 second pass will motivate me to get it back out for another try.

Any bets on how long it will take me to get it back out again…?

How about April at Mo-Kan Dragway for the "King of the Slanted Mitsubishi MoPars" race?
The entry list still has a few slots open!
