Rick
It was Solid.

No Eleven Seconds.

I tried a Different Converter that I had not Run yet and it slowed the 60'.

The air was average to bad also - not horrible but could have been better.

4 runs - It was a regular race day and I won round 1

12.28
12.12
12.06
12.08

Yes now that it's sorted, I can play with Ign timing, Carb Spacers, and rear suspension!

Post subject:  10-11-15 Mason Dixon Fall Race

It's Been quite A while since I have Posted any updates.

I surely Wish I would have gone more rounds at the Mason Dixon 2015 Fall Slant 6 Race, But It was not my day to be consistent;
I did Make 8 Passes, 7 Of which were solidly in the 11.99 or lower Range.
The First pass was a throw away at 12.10
MPH Was up to 111.XX and I did Squeak out a 112 MPH Pass Once!

So I Lowered my personal Best ET to 11.896 @ 112.05

If I can get the car to Run Consistent 11.80-90 Next year, Then in "good" air I can maybe pick up .4 and Be within Guzzi and Pederson Range for A or B Gas..... One can Dream!

Here is a rundown:
Pass 1: 12.10 @ 110.19
Pass 2: 11.93 @ 111.78
Pass 3: 11.89 @ 112.05*Personal Best to Date
Pass 4: 11.94 @ 111.19
Pass 5: 11.95 @ 111.39
Pass 6: 11.97 @ 111.23
Pass 7: 11.98 @ 111.25
Pass 8 :11.93@111.54

Thanks mark.

Good luck in your search for 11.20. I am sure it will be harder than 11.43.

Post subject:  Winter Time Transmission Rebuild / Upgrade 12/1/15

Hello Folks,

It's that Time of year when the 904 Transmission Is going to be rebuilt and upgraded with a Full Roller Kit with all Torringtion Bearings and Roller Bearings - No More Camshaft style bearings and Shims. Also, the Drums and a few other Components are being upgraded to A&A Transmission's Billet Aluminum Componets with a lower first Gear Ratio:

Pictorial update:

Steel Rear Drum - 3.336#

I will have a mass comparison prepared soon.

All the New parts save about 6# of rotating mass!

Hopefully all this work and Ca$h will drive Ruster Deeper into the 11's

looks like your also going from a 3clutch to a 5clutch drum. are you going with the up dated coil spring front piston like a 727?
