i have a 68 dodge dart without a/c, i was wondering if its possible to put it in a dart of that vintage? can one be pulled off a later model from a junk yard and put into mine? possible? modifications? |

Unless you have a world of patience and are concerned about a pure stock look, forget trying to put a factory A/C unit in your Dart. The aftermarket units are relatively easy to install and much simpler than stock. |

I said "relatively easy". No one makes a complete kit for early A-bodies, but I'm told someone now makes them for the later A's. I installed a Vintage Air unit in my '64 and if you go to the articles section, you can see what I had to do to make it fit. |
