That thing looks a lot like a Pete Aardema setup. It's basically a stock head that has been machined so that a cam can mount to it and a custom rocker arm and lifter setup fabbed. This actually isn't too difficult to pull off with a decently equipped machine shop. |

Am I looking at it right.... the pully to drive the cam is on the back of the engine? |

Yes, they drove it off the flywheel/crankshaft.
