hello sl6 sages - this may be a job for superman either dr.dougmo or the DI- anybody have a source or a pair of leak proof windshield wiper pivots. in my feather duster both leak like hell. i know this was a notorious problem with a bodies and was solved with the f bodies, but the f body pivots are not interchangeable with the a body design. remember ads in car mags which offered replacement designs which cleared up the problem. if not find my front floors become a pool especially here in florida with the summer monsoon rains. thanks in advance for any help or leads. paladin

I could swear that Schumacher industries had a really good kit available. I used the OEM style foam pivots from Year one and they are expensive for what you get, and I wonder how long they will last...so far 3 years in my case....)

look down the list for the pivot seal kit ($11.50+ $4.50SHI) and firewall seal kit also

I installed my Schumacher kit 7 years ago, still no leaks, Heat is the killer in my area as aptly demostrated by my recently aquired, free to a good home 89 Nissan pickup whos foam dash crumbled in my lap.

I was so impressed with the deal schumacher offered me that I bought more then I have cars to install them on, never know when one needs spares. :o
