I need an overflow bottle for my radiator before I go back to the track. Anyone know if one swap is easier than another? Or should I grab one out of any A body? What year did they start putting them in? How about the aftermarket pieces? Thank you once again. |

I'm using an old aluminum beer can as my overflow tank. It's secured with a tie-wrap. Frank |

I use a kid's bicycle water bottle. Even found a "Bell" one that doesn't look at all finky. Mounted bracket to side of radiator, removed nozzle with utility knife, ran overflow hose in to about 1/2" from bottom, melted a small hole near the top with a hot nail to vent, and viola, trick looking 20 oz. coolant recovery system that fits a 70 Duster without reshuffling horns, etc (required to put the late-style OEM recovery system in). Reference the Duster pics in "Slixer's Gallery" to see installed bottle). D/W |
