Here's some pictures of my new project, a 72 Road Runner. These were taken a couple days before I bought it.

Looks good Reed. 8) Heck, I'd drop in a cheap-o 360 for now until you can do what you want to it. That way you can at least enjoy it while you fix it up!

Nah, I think I'll stick with a slant. I have all the parts I need to build a slant powered car so I am going to use them. Plus I need to put some kind of limiter on myself--I just can't help but use a v-8 if I have one. I don't want to get a tcket or be in an accident.

In my spare time I have been cleaning and re-assembling the interior. It is surprisingly all there but the front upper door panels are pretty warped. The last few expensive items I think I will need are a paint job (can wait till I get more dough), seat upholstery (next on the list, but a big ticket item), headliner, carpet, rear package shelf, rear left upper door (1/4?) interior panel in black, then its on to the driveshaft, transmission cross member, brake system (needs complete overhaul front to back), then engine and transmission freshening up and rebuild. I've actually started to get paid at my job so I will have some money to spend. I hope to get it driveable by next summer.

I finished cleaning out the trunk last night. The original trunk mat was all there and in one piece, but was so funky and had such a large mouse nest built in it that it had to go. Underneath I found a shiny, solid, rust free trunk 8) and a rear window defog unit and a trunk light. muhahaha....
