Post subject: | about my car |
It is a needle in a hay stack story. Well I bought the car about a year ago. It was sitting in a barn for the last ten years collecting dust. It has 54,000 original miles. I have all the stock parts, including the original rims and tires from 1968. I got the motor running a week after I got it home. There is nothing fancy about it. It has a super 225 slant 6 with an offy intake and a holly 390. Headers and 2 1/2" pipe straight back. It is pretty much bare bone, I think the only option is the electric washer fluid. The car didn't even have an AM radio. Funny story: I had a 68 Valiant exactly like it in high school (about 16 years ago). I always kicked myself for selling that car. It turns out that my first Valiant was bought by this guys dad. The guy I bought my second Valiant from took the rims off of his dads car and put them on here. So now my second car, the one I have now has the rally rims off of my first car. I spotted them right away, I couldn't believe my eyes. Needless to say I bought the car on the spot for $2500. I'm sorry I'm a thief. ![]() ![]() I hope that answers your questions. If you have more specific questions don't hesitate to ask. |
