Does anyone how difference there would/should be between a coldcranking compression test and hot cranking compression test?
Thanks

Cold test might be less consistent between cylinders and read lower than a hot test. No oil on the cyl walls can make the seal worse unless they rings/cyl finish is perfect.

hot means operating temp of the motor (its been running for 10 or more minutes) cold is room temp. be careful doing a hot because the motor wants to run and ITS HOT
