hi the lifter in my motor are shot but it run well .i have a new comp cam 252 s. The motor that I have is a 86 hydraulic motor. I have all the parts I need to switch the motor to solid lifters. I just don't want to lose any of the power that I now have. The cam in it is stock. Just wondering if there would be any improvement by changing to the 252 s or should I just stick to changing the hydraulic lifters. Any feedback would be appreciated.

The 252 cam is pretty mild so you should be fine, just be sure to degree it in.
You will loose power if the mew combination of parts retard the cam.
