I've got a 60 valiant wagon with rusty floors. Gonna need to replace them. I've found a place that has replacement floorpans, yet doesn't include the transmission hump between the pans, plus much up the firewall.

Solution I've thought about is cutting a good floor out of a non-rusty Valiant. I know of a 61 two-door hardtop and a 62 signet.

My question to anyone who's done this, or knowledgeable about it: are the floor pans/patterns the same in a 2DR/4DR as the wagon? obviously, past the rear seat everything's different, but forward of it...what about that? would the pans be the same?

thanks for all help.

Eatkinson,
This should pose no problem to swap the 62 pan into the 60.I made pans for my 60 but later found out that the 63-66 pans are almost identical and repops are offered through Laysons Restorations. On my wifes 63 Dart ,the forward trans hump is rusted through and I have alreadt fabbed up a replacement from 18 guage steel and will use the repop pans for the rest.
The 2 and 4 door are the same on 60 -62 cars.
