Many months ago someone on this board suggested door seals that are available from Pep Boys. The post actually gave the part # for these also. Anyone remember or bought these to try? |

It was on the other Slant board. Here's the info if anyone is interested. Only available in Black. "Just about gave up finding door weatherstripping for 63-66 Dart GT. Everything I found was for 67 or newer. Walked thru Pep Boys & found their generic 9/16 door weatherstripping fits perfect. It's made by United, #CBS316 9/16 X 10ft." |

Actually I have the ones from them and they are too thick. Sent the first set back and the new ones are the same. You have to practially slam the doors to get them to shut. |

They are dimensionally correct and your doors might have been previously adjusted to accomodate worn seals. I adjusted my doors after installing new seals and they close perfectly, especially after sitting for a few weeks. |
