How much do the stock valves "grow" as they get hot, how much does this affect lash?

I'm sorry for that last part, I know how much it could affect lash. I just don't know how much they grow.

It is the exhaust valve that we have to worry about "growing" with heat expansion.
Are you concerned about overall length or the size of the valve head to the intake valve / cylinder wall?

overall length. my concern is misadjusted valves, 1 or 2 thous. too tight.
