WHERE CAN I FIND A BOOK THAT WILL TELL ME HOW TO COMPLETELY REBUILD A SLANT 6 MOTOR. I NEED TO BUILD A MOTOR FOR MY GRANDSON'S 72 PLYMOUTH SCAMP AND WE DONT HAVE A LOT OF EXPERIENCE IN THIS TYPE OF THING. NEED SOMETHING A NOVICE CAN UNDERSTAND. |

A factory shop manual is the best for step by step instructions. Chiltons comes second, with alot of helpfull tips to make a given task go smoother. |

I got mine from Faxon, as I recall. Not cheap - but EXACT reproduction of the original. See http://tinyurl.com/5rgd4 k |

You can also order a shop manual on CD-ROM for about $50. from a place like: http://www.repairmanual.com/automobiles/ and print out pages as you need them (if you have a printer). Steve |
