| Post subject: | Where to find 4 door weatherstripping for a '68 Dart |
Hi all, This year I am finally going to give my '68 Dart the attention it deserves. Media blasting to bare metal, bodywork, basecoat/clearcoat paintjob. One obstacle is in the way, however: where do I find weatherstripping for a 4 door Dart? I can only seem to find 2 door stuff anywhere. Does anybody, like Lou, etc.? who have 4 door cars know where I can get 4-door weatherstripping? |

Try Restoration Specialties, they seem to have a good selection of parts like that. I just got windlace for my '63 Valiant (2 of them) 4-dr sedan. Their web site is www.restorationspecialties.com. Good luck. RMDV. |

Thanks RMDV, I will check them out. Dan, I would like to replace all of the rubber when the car is painted. There are no leaks at the doors, but the rubber is well worn. |

My 68 Dart has original weatherstripping, almost throughout, so I'll be very interested in what you find. My guess is you could buy 2dr (post?) wstrip and cut pieces to fit. Lou |
