Use two wrenches to disconnect the oil cooler lines. One to hold the fitting in the transmission, the other to turn the nut on the steel line.
Do not bend, kink, or twist the lines. You can not buy new ones at your dealer.

5/16 hardline, tube cutter, double flairing tool, and bending tools and a lot of patience will let you make a replacement line that looks factory.

Regular and stainless replacements are available for reasonable prices from Fine Lines and Classic Tube.

If you arn't much of a wiz with a bender, then you can patch back together or just use new mostly straight pieces and some short rubber sections to make the turns.

Be sure to route away from heat or moving parts. Buy the better hose clamps that are designed for fuel injection.(they look better too) Buy the correct rubber line for transmission applications, fuel line will go hard and is a bad idea.

My aspen's cooler lines look very nice this way and saved me a whole bunch of time test fitting.
