For some reason i cant think of what they're called, those rubber cone sealer things that come with an engine gasket set, they go in the valve springs to seal oil I think.. argh i feel stupid. Anyways i heard if you boil those to get them soft, you can use them as gaskets for your wiper arms to prevent leaks. Anyone else ever try this or is it a bunch of hoo-ha.

They are called valve stem seals. I have used these on my Duster for years. So far I have never had any problems installing them. Just slide them over and don't scrach the paint.
