Is it an illuminated tach? What color wires are coming out the back of it? Green should go to negative hook-up on your coil. As for the HEI swap im not sure
... maybe someone else can help?

I found a suntune tach at a swap meet. I went to the sunpro site and found info on installing the tach. All the wires are thier, but the difference in the wires are that I have a green wire and they have a white wire. Would these two wires be for the same hook-up? Also I plan on doing the Hei swap and was wondering if the tach would need to change from being hooked up to the coil to something else? Thanks! |

Green goes to your coil (negative). The white wire is for illumination, I sauldered that to the light switch under the dash. |

I don't have the white wire. I have a green one. Is the green one for the lights? |

Red, Black, Blue, Green. Those are the cpolors of wires I have. |

Red-power Black-ground Blue-lights Green-coil The Green wire would still go to the negative coil terminal on HEI. |
