Sometimes my battery lasts for a few days or just for a few weeks before dying. It's a new battery, the alternator been replaced and so has the voltage regulator and all the fuses in the fuse block. Where could the drain be? matamor 1978 D100 Custom 2wd Pick Up. |

To find the source of the drain, remove fuses one at a time until you find one that sparks when you remove it. This requires working in the dark; it's more certain and easier if you put a voltmeter across the clamps of each fuse you remove. When you find one that registers 12v, examine that circuit to find out why it's constantly drawing current. |
