I have noticed the terms little applied to the pre 68 torque converter hubs and big applied to the post 68 hub. These are descriptive but not very presice if you have not seen both. How big is big and how small is small? Thanks \6T |

Appx. 1 9/16 (1.56) diameter for the "small hub" and 1 13/16 (1.81) for the "big nose" converter. The adaptor spacer is a 1/8 (.125) wall thickness ring, about 5/8 long. DD |

Hi, Is that adaptor ring available commercially or do I need to whittle it out on the lathe? The question comes to mind do I need it at all, as I have seen some transmissions with Hub broken off and still working just fine? The flex plate to convertor bolts index the unit pretty well. \6T Thank for the reply |

The ring is available from www.wildcatmopars.com for about $20 shipped to your door. |
